Any Day That Ends In YA – Trapped by Ella James

TrappedElla James is one of my favorite authors. I like her Young Adult, New Adult and Adult Romance novels–I don’t think I have ever read a stinker by her. She has dabbled in Paranormal, Sci-fi, Contemporary and Erotic genres; writing short stories, novellas and full length books. Trapped is one of those awesome Sci-fi YA Romances that will have you buying up all of Ella James titles just like I did… and you will be combing the night sky for a Nick of your own!

He Said, She Said – Making Love 101: Jennifer Leeland

Making Love 101Jennifer Leeland is the author of some of the most titillating Erotic Romance ever to grace the memory storage of my e-reader. She is a cross genre writer who has dabbled in Paranormal, Sci-fi, Contemporary, BDSM-Fetish and Steamy as all Hell–Suspense. Her novels feature alpha males with control issues and kick ass heroines who know what they want and how to get it. Thanks for taking the time to chat with me about how you make love happen in your writing, Jennifer!

Tongue Wagger – Dark Past by Jennifer Leeland

Dark Past by Jennifer LeelandI had some reservations about a hero named “Bud” but once Jennifer Leeland threw some restraints into the story and made him talk in a commanding voice, I no longer cared what his name was. Jennifer knocked this Space Smut out of the Galaxy and I have no shame in the fact that I feel the need to call her Mistress from now on.

Weekend Pick Me Up – Lost In Me by Lexi Ryan

Lost In Me - Lexi RyanI have been trying very hard to overcome the habit of making quick judgements that my mother instilled in me as a child for sometime. Still, I find they bite me on the patootie and I often have times when I read that I get an impression and think I’ve figured out everything on that first thought and think I can stop there. It takes me a nudge to remember all the times I have made the promise that I wouldn’t be like my mom in quick painting all things black and white before I pull my big girl pants on and step beyond my bull crap. This is how I learned Lost In Me was not The Vow.

Feeling Peckish – Finding Autumn by Beth Michele

Finding Autumn by Beth MicheleThis was a naughty little scamper through the horny end of the park if I have ever read one. Don’t mistake me, I enjoyed my lascivious stroll that takes off almost as soon as you walk through the park’s gate. This is the book you will want to read when your man goes out of town. Actually, that is where Finding Autumn begins… when Olivia Redmund A.K.A Autumn Winters takes a trip out of town.

Weekend Pick Me Up – Craving Constellations by Nicole Jacquelyn

Craving Constellations - Nicole JacquelynEvery once in a while I find that I’m taken aback when I wrongly judge a book by it’s cover and find that my assumption, or perhaps presumption, rewards me with a very generous boon. When I read the synopsis of Craving Constellations and compared it with the cover I let my mind do a good amount of cancelling out. I will not allow you to do the same. This novel by Nicole Jacquelyn is phenomenal, but it has nothing to do with how attractive the cover is; it is pure gold inside it’s the wrapper.

He Said, She Said – Making Love 101: Lucy Felthouse

Making Love 101Lucy Felthouse brought me a good deal of sunshine and dirty minded happiness in offering to let me review her novel, Stately Pleasures. My body may still be feeble and weak because four months of being ill is just plain old crazy talk but this book is just what the doctor ordered and I had no issue taking my medicine. Lucy took the time to talk about how she makes the love that makes the reader satisfaction and I am sharing it with you. Thanks Lucy, for the chat and the naughty book read while I am too sick to be naughty! Continue Reading

Makin’ The Love Monday – Stately Pleasures by Lucy Felthouse

Stately Pleasures - Lucy FelthousesOccasionally there are is a book where within it’s pages I find a character particularly alluring for the reason that he appeals to the rather dark and submissive part of me. Some little part of me wakes up and pays extra attention while I read the kinky doings and it seems to tune in a little more to his parts and look at him a little more keenly than all others in the novel. Stately Pleasures is a BDSM menage love story and the two male doms are both very attractive… but Lucy Felthouse clearly tapped into some cosmic collective unconscious that knew my buttons and how to push them when she created the hero Jeremy Davenport. Hello, Sir! Would you like to play master and servant?

Tongue Wagger – Relentless Liberation by L.J. Fine

Relentless Liberation - A.J. FineYou ever see a book and when you read the synopsis it smacks of a book you really loved and you have to have a bite of it because it must taste like that other book… after all it looks the same. I mean aren’t all veggie chilis just veggie chilis?

Yeah… and everyone is named Pete and we all come from Texas.

Relentless Liberation sounded very similar to Jamie McGuire’s Beautiful Disaster. Shy, drab, bookish Mina Roper goes with her gal pal to an underground boxing fight and she sees the muscular fineness of Tyler Serano who likes making other men hurt. Innocent and meek Mina knows Tyler is out of her league but it doesn’t stop her from feeding her addiction for ogling his guns as they deliver the damage every Tuesday, like clockwork. Even to you it sounds sorta, kinda, a little, maybe a bit similar, no?
