Sourcebooks will be releasing Renee Collins new epic romance novel Until We Meet Again in November this year. The romantic love story that spans two lifetimes, and soul mates finding one another not once but twice, sounds fantastic and I can’t wait to read it. I have high hopes that I might be able to get an ARC and review it ahead of time because November is just too far away!

You hear that a lot – not necessarily in Bible-speech or in a way that makes use of archaic yet elegant “shan’t” – but this is a sentence that everybody has heard at least once in their life.
Wether it’s applied to people or to actual books, I’ve often found this to be very true.
Some books are like those carnivore plants in the jungle: beautiful to look at, lethal when you get near them.
I tend to get in reading rut, like my choice in foods–I find something tasty and it’s all I eat for the next month. With reading I will be taken with a topic and read nothing but that for a while: YA, Science Fiction, stepbrothers, motorcycle clubs, Classics, shifters, urban fantasy, ménage, vintage romances… Then I will read something off the menu and it will blow me the eff away. Since I buy a lot of books (upward of 150-200/month) I sometimes flip through my e-reader and select a book by cover not knowing what in hell I’m getting into because Kindle doesn’t show me blurbs, and I’m stuck just pants-ing my novel choice. Some are winners, some are losers–this was a blue ribbon selection, and how I came to read Xaman. (And I don’t regret my cover loving in the least because the book was amazekitties.) Continue Reading
Perhaps it is a throwback to my youth, but I love the books where the plot is brother/sister and best friend or rivals to lovers. I like the heart twistin’, which is strange because I avoid drama in my own life. Perhaps I’m one of those people who loves romance train wrecks. Actually there is no perhaps about it. I enjoy watching love disasters.

This book came to my via a review request by A.J. Tipton. I’m unsure which part of the A & J sent me the request but they lured me by using my love of Lizzy Ford novels. Because the Her Elemental Viking series does fall under the same genre I overcame my commitment not to take on anymore book review requests. I mean, dude, it’s paranormal vikings for Bunny’s sakes! Sorry people, I need a minute. To squeal and reel and make a cartwheel or two I wouldn’t normally be capable of performing. I just feel like euphorically shaking my butt to the awesomeness that is Color me Crazy with as much enthusiasm as I apply when I hear “Uptown Funk” on the radio. What do you want from me? It has groove! Although I am pretty sure Julian would prefer that my ass be shaken to a more rocking tune such as my beloved Led Zeppelin or Def Leppard and I would be happy to oblige…
The long awaited Carter Reed 2 has just been released by Tijan and it’s crawling up the Amazon Seller charts like she is selling chocolate. This novel continues the love story of crime syndicate leader Carter Reed and his love kitten Emma Martins as they burn the world down. In typical Tijan fashion this novel has a lot of ‘if you aren’t with me you’re against me’ and ‘love is taking a hit out on your opposition’ within it’s pages. If you are a Tijan lover than this is another book for your TBR.
I’m very happy to have recruited a fellow Goodreads reviewer to my kittenside. I spent about ten minutes searching for someone whose reviews really got my attention and then once I found her I spent twenty reading what she was reviewing, what novels were in her TBRs, and bio. I knew Simona was perfect and wouldn’t need to be guided by me to find a place in writing an analysis and critique because this girl knows her mind and has the chops. She has confidence which I rank up there with Bunny and coffee in importance as far as my world is concerned. When I wrote her about co-blogging with me she didn’t worry about what I was asking to do; Simona only asked that I help her get used to doing things as I’ve set them up, locating places to get ARCs, and setting up blog tours. She is the human equivalent of pancakes, and kittens!

Lexi Ryan is filling my every hope for the future and releasing Nix’s book. My favorite New Hope doctor is doing the dirty with the man who has been turned down by EVERY Thompson daughter. Every dog will have their day: Max Hallowell, the favorite for the shoulda, woulda, coulda award for the past New Hope books is having wham bam, thank you ma’ams, with my doctor. HEA is ahead, my friends! Well that is the theory but Lexi has to torture us with a whirly twirly, topsy turvy plot first.
