Title: Of Light and Dark (The Dark Series #3) Author: Danah Logan Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romantic Suspense Release Date: 08 June 2021
My name is Lilly. What is my last name, you ask? I. Don’t. Know.
I lost track of who I am months ago. I thought I was a McGuire until my brother let me in on the secrets that drove a wedge between my family so many years ago.
Consumed with the need for answers, I made decisions others would’ve called reckless—and they’re probably right.
The feeling of betrayal sat too deep for me to see reason. I should’ve told my parents, informed the authorities, but trust is a fragile thing. Once it’s broken, is there really a chance of rebuilding it?
Then I met him.
He gave me answers, but he had questions of his own. The more time we spent together, the more we bonded…until the lines were blurred. Home was no longer tied to a place but to two individuals. Throughout our search for the truth, I almost lost the boy that means everything to me. Hunted by the media, tormented by Rhys’s psychotic ex and her followers, I became a target, and my need to run put everyone at risk.
No one could’ve expected what actually happened over a decade ago. How one decision started a chain of events that led to me being the pawn in her game.
Find out what really happened ten years ago in this angst-filled, romantic-suspense story full Of Light and Dark.

Title: Broken Wing (Arthur Academy, #1) Author: Kathleen Mareé Genre: Contemporary, New Adult Release Date: 26 April 2021
Hendrix: It’s funny the things you notice as a child. Like the way people uneasily glance away from me whenever I catch their eye. Or the way a stranger seems to smile happily at other children, but when I say hello, their smile looks more uneasy than warm… But as I approach the steel gates to the elite Arthur Academy, I can’t help but take a long-awaited breath towards my freedom. Finally, I have the chance to build the life I want. A future. Something that gives me more to live for than the daily beatings my childhood only ever knew. The girl I used to be doesn’t exist here. But even as the confidence grows about a life I now have control over, I can’t help but feel there could be something else waiting for me here. Something I’ve never faced before.
And it isn’t something I could prepare for. And preparation is what got me out. It got me here.
I can’t afford to lose this opportunity, because if I lose this hand, it’s more than just a loss. It’s like not being able to breathe. Not being able to fly.
Paxton: I grip the leather ball in my hand, feeling the weight of the year pressing down on me. If it was just football, I could deal, but with my last name – it’s everything else that suffocates me. The Arthur Elite is what they call us, and we each have our roles to play. But my fathers given me the next two years to do what the hell I want without his interference, before he’ll own me and I’ll become nothing but his pawn. After that, when college is done, I dread the life I’ll have to lead. The role I’ll be forced to play. It should be simple. Just stroll through the steel gates and be the crown they all see; but I can’t help but feel there is something lurking beneath the surface. There is something different about this year that I sense inside my dark soul. And it isn’t something I am prepared for; even when staying ahead is the one thing that ensures my next breath.
Because when I lose a hand, it’s more than just a loss. It’s like losing a limb. A bird breaking its’ wing.
And without that – I can’t fly toward freedom. And my freedom right now, is all I have to hold onto.
Title: For the Love of Easton Author: A.M. Hargrove Genre: Contemporary Romance Release Date:15 April 2021
What could be more humiliating than your father telling an almost perfect stranger that you’re single?
I’ll tell you what—proposing MARRIAGE to him!
That’s exactly what my father did.
He basically tried to barter me off like a horse.
Admittedly, said single dude was a veritable smoke show.
Besides being exceptionally panty-melting, he was also a complete jackass.
Until the douche of my baby daddy showed up—and not for a friendly visit—insisting on gaining custody of our daughter.
Said panty-melting jackass rode in on his white stallion, rescuing me from the clutches of the aforementioned douche .
I never imagined Panty-Melter would turn out to be my knight in shining armor.
Maybe Dad’s idea wasn’t so crazy after all.
And this was how I found myself considering that insane proposal.
From USA Today bestselling author, AM Hargrove comes For The Love of Easton, the sequel to the Amazon top selling single dad romance, For The Love of English. This book had a terribly slow start, and so many times, I want to throw it down and quit. But I’m glad I didn’t because right around the time someone ahem passes out at the funeral, it all picks up.
Pippa Grant has a style that is simply all hers wonderful and blessed chaos. In typical Pippa fashion, her heroine, Muffy Periwinkle, is a hot mess. It’s not just that she is a med school drop-out or runs a flagging matchmaking business. You can’t point at her figure or her insecurities and say that those are what has her at wit’s end. It’s not that she has a death-seeking feline; it’s all of it together. She needs some tender loving care.
Ali: Hello, Sarah! It’s so lovely to meet you. Congrats on the release, and thanks for the chance to talk about Breathing Underwater. Could you take a moment and introduce yourself? Sarah: Hello hello! Thank you so much for having me, it’s a pleasure! I am originally from Utah, and the oldest of eight kids. I’ve also had some experience living in San Francisco, Seattle, Las Vegas, and DC. I got an MFA in fiction from Brigham Young University and now I’m getting a second MFA in poetry from the University of South Florida in Tampa. I’ve wanted to be a writer since I could first read, and since those days when Ramona and the Pevensies were some of my best childhood friends! My other obsessions are things like David Attenborough documentaries, Broadway music, anything with caramel, Pixar movies, and Colin Firth. I’m excited to share Olivia and Ruth’s journey with you all!
Breathing Underwater’s blurb begins with “Breathing Underwater is a sparkly, moving middle-grade novel from Sarah Allen, and a big-hearted exploration of sisterhood, dreams, and what it means to be there for someone you love.” Tell us more about that, if you would, please! I started writing this book during a time in my life when so many of my loved ones, best friends and my family, were going through some very hard, tender things, including some serious struggles with mental illness. I was desperate to find a way to help, and the answer to what I could do seemed to be…not much. So I wrote. I wrote about a girl struggling to learn how to help her sister, and learning that loving her and accepting her for who she is really was enough. I learned so much about myself along the way.
