Title: Not My Match (The Game Changers #2)
Author: Ilsa Madden-Mills
Genre: Sports Romance
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Oh, I’m such a big fan! IMM! Hearts and doodles. Who does Sports Romance Better?

And let me preface this with the disclaimer there are barely any sports in this–Not My Match is an Ode to Nerd-dom and Physics. I’m talking the Multiverse, anti-matter, CERN, String Theory, purple aliens with sexy tails–wait, she took the tail out–we are saying yes to STEM! And hello, to women in STEM. My kinda book. And Giselle Riley is my book girlfriend!

Devon Walsh, #89, has a crush. Man, is he bad hiding it. Just about anyone looking at him grinding his teeth while other men talk to Giselle can see it written in blood. But nope, Giselle isn’t his type. Too innocent. Too good. Too smart. Too in need of him to help her find the perfect match for her because she can do better than anyone she’s picking out for herself.

This game is ‘Tell Me a Secret, Tell Me a Lie.’ It’s just what it sounds like. I give a prompt, and you, the character, gets to determine if you want to hint a secret or lie: one or the other.

Tell me a secret about the last lie you told your partner or Tell me a lie you told your partner to keep that secret.

*Asher explodes with laughter*
Asher: Tell her where Felicity thinks you are today man.
Jason: F%^$ off
Cameron: You lied to her?
Jason: I didn’t… it’s not… I may have extended the truth but only because I knew she’d want to come

Tell me a secret you can’t tell your bestie or Tell me a lie you just told your parents.

Title: Saint (Saint and Sinners #1)
Author: Ruby Vincent
Genre: Dark Romance, Reverse Harem
My rating:
5 of 5 stars

First, let me say that my favorite book is Alice in Wonderland. Why does that matter? Because Sinjin Bellisario reminded me of the Mad Hatter and the Tea Party put together. The man is brilliant chaos, and I could eat him up.

Ruby Vincent’s Saint is a bit different from her academy books in that she’s taken a dark path, and I like it. Adeline Redgrave is a struggling chef trying to make it in a crap situation. She can barely make rent, much less pay for the care for her father. When she sees something she shouldn’t, it puts a crinkle in her life that she truly can’t afford.

Cinco City lives and breathes on the sin that feeds and fuels it. The Merchants are another gang who are making a stamp on the underworld until a Bunny witnesses them making a hit. But their leader is sheer wonky unpredictability, and he decides that she can live, but the caveat is she’s theirs.

OH, Goodness, woman, you kill me with these cliffhangers. YOU SLAY ME WITH THEM!

I don’t even know where to start. I can’t. My mind is blown.

Sabina’s very naughty mate, Kade, destroyed Shadow at the end of Submission, and now is the Alpha of Shadow pack meaning, he’s split Bean’s sub-pack. Bean starts this book fed up with all of them and needs some time with the women in her life. She tells the boys to figure out their sugar and has Artemis spirit her away to her cousins and Nessa. Thus we begin Seduction. A book in which snack foods are seriously threatened.

Title: X-Clan: The Experiment
Author: Lexi C. Foss

Performers: Kale Williams & Sarah Puckett
Genre: Sci-Fi, Paranormal, Romance, Omegaverse
Rating: 5 of 5 stars

Elias, who was voted “Wolf Most Likely to be Sexed-up by Readers,” is the novella’s hero, X-Clan: The Experiment. He gets Daciana, an Ash Wolf omega from the Shadowlands. I’m so very excited because Kale Willams and Sarah Puckett get to read these parts, and the two are so damn good at it that there were times I fell into the story.

The Andorra Sector hasn’t been able to produce its omegas for decades, and because of this, their entire society is endangered. But there is hope for the future if the Ash Wolves are compatible. So the Alpha of the X-Clan and Elias’ best friend Ander Cain have arranged a trade, the experiment. Elias gets Daciana, and if she proves to be compatible, then they will mate.

Kale Williams sounds filthy reading Elias’s parts. It’s compelling, and even though his reading voice is sometimes delivered without a ton of inflection, it sounds even dirtier for it. Sarah Puckett is an excellent counter in Daciana’s voice.

Would you rather hear your parents do the deed or put up with Khloe hitting on the guys again?

Jason: What the actual f*#%? Why would you ask that?
Asher: *retches* You’re triggering some serious shit here, I hope you know that.
Cameron: No way, you heard them go at it?
Asher: Dude, not cool!
Jason: Seriously, can we move on? I just can’t…

Would you rather wake up and find you had three-inch-long eyelashes or go to bed without lips?
