Mmmm… Micah. You know if something’s good you make sure you keep going back for more. Micah is one of my favorite good things. I don’t know if there is an ‘enough’ point where he is concerned. I have a somethin’ somethin’ for Eli as well and if I could have a Micah and Eli bookend sammich with me as a gooey center I think that would be a moment in my fictional fantasy life that would need to be memorialized by some sort of mental photography. Sexual psychic 3-d imaging. MY GOD! Imagine if you could 3-d print your fav book boyfriend?! I would have a complete collection of Maddie Pryce’s Dark Series twig and berry cast!
MEEEE-ow, girls and boys. I have never had an experience like Anna Cortez has when she meets wrestling phenom Xavier Cold on a plane but I have sat by the person who spilled his drink on her so I must be building up frequent flyer karma to earn my own dirty talking bad boy mile high experience. Perhaps I’m not flying with the right airlines, is there a Hard-on Airways? I’ve been booking through Orbitz and I think they only deal with the regular carriers. Xavier Cold must only fly on the premier and obscure ones where you can rather rudely proposition chicks to get on your salami shuttle to the nearest hotel upon arrival. I read this book when it first came out in April and I’m still trying to figure out if I’m turned on by his naughty talk or if on the surface he’s a douche canoe.
I have a weakness. Eye candy. I’m not ashamed and if you want I will sing it from the rooftops. Ali loves lickable, lovely, sexified, manly, yum yum bits! I had posted that I was looking for authors who had novels coming out in July or August who would allow me to banners of their novels to my carousel; Charity sent me an email. I looked at her book covers and despite the fact her book was coming out at the end of May I immediately tried to find a loophole to my own rule because the cover of her novels were so delicious and the synopses made me want to snack on them.

I mentioned a few weeks ago that I have been remiss in my YA book reading. I happened to find Brittany DeLys requesting reviewers for Just A Touch on Goodreads and I liked the description of this story. I lucked out because she was looking for ten reviewers and I think from the look of the amount of people who had replied to the post, I snuck in under the wire. I guess you could say I had a “touch” of luck.
Gabriel Dern is a grouchy, unhappy, insecure, and lonely man. The accident he had when he was a teen has made the last fifteen years of his life years that were spent exiled from the community his sister wants him to be part of. He can stay home and feel less alone than he does when he joins the real world and people begin to stare and whisper the word “freak” behind their hands. He likes being by himself on his farm. So when his sister, Lacey, interferes and moves a stranger into the guest house not only is it beyond what he can tolerate, but the new tenants pretty face, easy going, clumsy as all hell personality keeps drawing him to her like she’s candy and he has a sweet tooth. And Gabe already has scars; he doesn’t need cavities.
