This was a naughty little scamper through the horny end of the park if I have ever read one. Don’t mistake me, I enjoyed my lascivious stroll that takes off almost as soon as you walk through the park’s gate. This is the book you will want to read when your man goes out of town. Actually, that is where Finding Autumn begins… when Olivia Redmund A.K.A Autumn Winters takes a trip out of town.
Fran Lee is the author of over 30 novels varying from Contemporary to Paranormal Romance and Erotic Romance; she has already released three novels in the first three months of 2014. In this Making Love 101 Fran takes the time to talk about how she created the love story between Azrael and Cheyenne in her book Woman on Fire. Thanks, Fran!
If there are two things I like they are: arrogant men and when arrogant men get a cosmic kick in the pants. To say Fran Lee prepared a plate of intergalactic indulgence would be understating it. This little serving of spicy goodness is a sweet treat of tasty meat for any night of the week.
Who doesn’t love a rake? I know for me good guys do finish last. I need a man who is unrepentant and likes naughty, dirty fun times. The more playful, inappropriate and charming the better. Nicholas Norton might be a couple years too soon for me to feel he is ripe enough to be plucked from the scoundrel tree but I can’t help but be tempted by his devil may care smirks and flippant remarks.
What is it about time travel books that are so alluring. I think the first time travel book I ever read was a First Love From Silhouette book, that was way back in the 80’s when Silhouette books had a Young Adult Romance book line. I wish I could find the title out there somewhere because I would love to read this book again. A young girl visits her grandmother in New England where there is a boardwalk nearby. For a reason she can’t name she is attracted to the boarded up carousel and when she gets on the carousel she is taken back in time to when the boardwalk was in it’s heyday; it was the 20’s or 30’s.
It was the first time I ever thought about how someone in the past might react with modern dress and modern speech. In the book a dime is the catalyst to some commotion. It becomes foggy in my gravy boat trap mind but I think when she goes to use the dime it sends her back to her own time. I loved that book. From that point forward Time Travel Romance crossed from fancy to adoration in my heart. Speakeasy Sweetheart might have shined the dime the first book left in my mind and this book took me back to that adoration. Well–not that in the YA book the hero, that I have no recollection of wanted to see the heroine’s jugs.
This is a woman after my own heart! I read that she is a coffee slurper which can only mean that she must be a sister of my soul or at the very least connected to me cosmically through taste buds. Denise A. Agnew has written more books than there are states in the U of S, plus Guam and anything else America wants to put it’s pieces on while playing the Game of Risk, at this moment. She likes to write books that are spicy, sweet, something old, something new, something something, something blue. Thank you for letting me review Sudden Heat, Denise–as well as journeying through my many questions.
Desiree Holt is the author of over 100 novels of all sorts, covering all genres, with love in mind. Berengaria Brown has just released her newest m/m Paranormal Romance from Evernight Publishing, ‘Would You Trust A Werewolf?’ This is a 34 page short story but if you have had the chance to be swept up in one of Berengaria’s stories you know that she doesn’t need to fill you up with starch and carbs when she can work you out with some palpitations and heavy breathing. Whoo, wolfboy! Is it warm in here?
Erika Almond is one of the authors who volunteered to take part in my Making Love 101 feature. She sent me her Steamy Love Scenes series to review as basis for my interview. The Steamy Love Scenes books are three novellas that take place over the course of week following the love affair of Josie and Miles and Josie’s interfering ex-boyfriend and charmingly immoral best pal Riley, who really has a history of following his weiner all over town. For the sake of my interview and review I’m going to look at this series together as a whole while focusing on parts of each book’s individual story. Continue Reading
