I will be quite honest and admit right away that Sci-Fi isn’t really my genre. Sure, sometimes I delight myself with it, but I am not a hardcore reader, I rarely pick up a Sci-Fi themed book, and if someone asks me what my least favored genre is I always point out Sci-Fi without thinking twice about it. Cover Lover: This Stuck-Up Suit is Revealed
Tongue Wagger – Breaking a Legend by Sarah Robinson
Two things brought Breaking a Legend by Sarah Robinson to my attention:
1. The cover. I admit it, I am a total cover-whore. Who doesn’t like a muscled hunk flexing on a book cover?!
2. MMA fighters. They are sexy, they smash faces in. Okay, it’s not really the face smashing that does me in. But I do love me some MMA fight.
Big plus? The promise of more books. I love being sucked into a world and knowing that it won’t end just with the one book. That’s why I mostly read series.

Cover Lover: Jacked Up by Elle Aycart
Weekend Pick Me Up: Prick Tease by Misti Murphy
Naughty, naughty! The temptation of the forbidden is so good to read.
This is not one of the taboo stepbrother books that are flooding the market (and my Kindle because I like forbidden things). This is a the crux of family, friends and lovers; when loving someone is a betrayal of those who love you most.

Any Day That Ends in YA – Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
First installment in Leigh Bardugo’s Grisha Trilogy, Shadow and Bone introduces an alternate tsarist Russia, called Ravka, where people are called to serve their country either by displaying some affinity with magic (those are called Grisha) or by enrolling in the military.

Tongue Wagger: Miss Taken by Milly Taiden
Want a hot and sexy winter snuggle? Yeah, baby I know you do.
There is no one who does hot and sexy like Milly (pRon) Taiden. Her novels are the hot toddie of cliterature and little of what I’ve written in this introduction can put in an Amazon review.
Amazon: Where the prudes go to read reviews.

Simona: Why don’t we do a post about our favorite novels of 2015?
Ali: I was thinking about doing that with some authors. Maybe we could do our 2015 and then I can do anticipated books for 2016?
Simona: Let’s do it!
Ali: How will we do it?
Simona: I don’t know.
… and that is how we pantsed this post! Continue Reading
Any Day That Ends in YA – Daughter of the Earth and Sky by Kaitlin Bevis
Daughter of the Earth and Sky picks up where Persephone left off.
There wasn’t that much of a cliffhanger between the first two of books, but there was still some suspense that got unraveled in the course of the second book, flowing right into a MAJOR cliffhanger to the third installment, The Iron Queen – which sounds to me more Celtic, fairy inspired than Greek.
