Tijan and Crew: Of course! Hopefully. We’ll see. 🙂
Ali: Tijan do these characters behave when you are writing them or do they take your plans and do whatever the hell they want?
Tijan: Usually not! They do what they want, like all my characters. I let them.
Ali: Cross do you feel like Tijan does a fair job with how she depicts Zellman, Jordan and Bren or does she write them differently from what you know they are?
Cross: I guess?
Ali: Is there anything coming up that you are excited about Tijanettes reading? And if you could give a one word hint to them what would it be?
Bren’s monotone, “We don’t read.”
Cross grins. “If we don’t have to.”
Zellman frowns. “Our book. Duh.”
Jordan doesn’t respond.
Ali: Who will play you in the film adaptation?
Zellman smiles. “Captain America.”
Cross laughs. “I don’t give a shit.”
Jordan gestures to Bren. “Megan Fox for you?”
Bren shrugs. “I don’t care either.”
Ali: What song will play when your character is first introduced? (In said film adaptation)
Zellman: The theme to Batman.
Jordan laughs. “We are the Champions?”
Bren: Sabatoge by Beastie Boys
Cross: grinning Brass Monkey
Zellman and Jordan both start laughing.
Ali: So I’m going to give away a couple Tijan books, sorry none of the ones I am giving away are Crew books, but I still hope you can share with Tijanettes what Tijan novels you like most and why?
Jordan monotone this time, “Again. We don’t read if we don’t have to.” Zellman raises his hand. “I’m partial to Jaded.”
Bren says to him, “That’s because you think the girl is hot on the covers. You didn’t actually read the books.”
Zellman shrugs. “You say that like it’s a bad thing.”
