I am wilting fast and I am so determined to get two Monday reviews written today. I have this schedule that I want to stick to this week because blog life has begun to get a little bit crazy. And my real life hero raids (he’s a wicked gamer) during the evenings and I have some time before impending body failure happens tonight and I am really praying to push through while I can. C’mon snake eyes. C’mon snake eyes.
Weekend Pick Me Up – The Daddy Pact by Kristy K. James
Ahhh weekends. They are like chocolate but less fattening. They are like the movie Grease but without the singing. Well, who am I to say that? Perhaps John Travolta serenades you all weekend long. If he doesn’t, maybe he should. Let me start this out right… Just. For. You.
Close your eyes (But keep them open). Imagine Danny Zuko’s voice (But really it would be me singing to you and I sing best when I sing in Korean). Ahem…
~~Why, this book could be systematic, hydromatic, ultramatic, why, it could be greased lightning!~~
Weekly Indie Word Slinger – Gale Martin
I’m beyond amazed by the response I’ve had to the Weekly Indie Word Slinger posting. Thank you all for your interest and I am doing my best to figure out the best way to provide the most exposure and attention I can for you and your books.
My Word Slinger for this week hails from my neck of the woods, or I guess I can say my home neck of the Penn’s Woods. Author of Don Juan in Hankey, Pa, Grace Unexpected and upcoming Who Killed ‘Tom Jones’?, Gale Martin has shown infinite patience while I was flu-ridden and gave me a lot of leeway when I was fearful that I might be very late getting these Weekly Indie Word Slingers out. Thanks, Gale!
Weekly Indie Word Slinger – Nicole Banks
The very first indie author to be featured in my Weekly Indie Word Slinger section is Nicole Banks whose very fast reply landed her deets in my email long before the authors before her. I’m really excited to be featuring authors who are self-publishing and it’s a joy for me to start this year off with such a positive response. I have a few weeks worth of authors who have responded and if I keep receiving emails I will happily put out more frequent posts to accommodate more writers.
