Makin’ the Love Mondays: The Untouchable Earl by Amy Sandas

Untouchable-Earl
This is a bit of a Beauty and the Beast story. Lord Harte, Avenell Slade, has dealt with a rather desperate affliction all his life. He has a medical condition that makes his skin so sensitive that it is painful to be touched by another. Initially he searches out the help of Madam Pendragon, a brothel owner with an iron glove. Pendragon enforces discretion and punishes loose tongues; no one would dare gossip that Lord Harte has been serviced by her brothel in anyway, much less rumor a health issue. One doesn’t mess with the steely madam, she’s cunningly intelligent and not afraid to play Eve over Adam. Poor Adam.

In my times of need and when I just need a few moments to myself.

… yeah, that sounds creepy too. But I make no promises of not saying it again.

Tongue Wagger – Breaking a Legend by Sarah Robinson

Breaking-a-Legend-Header

Two things brought Breaking a Legend by Sarah Robinson to my attention:

1. The cover. I admit it, I am a total cover-whore. Who doesn’t like a muscled hunk flexing on a book cover?!
2. MMA fighters. They are sexy, they smash faces in. Okay, it’s not really the face smashing that does me in. But I do love me some MMA fight.

Big plus? The promise of more books. I love being sucked into a world and knowing that it won’t end just with the one book. That’s why I mostly read series.
