Tongue Wagger – Red Moon Rising by Elizabeth Kelly

RMR_667x1000If this were a TV show they would say this is the spin-off series from the original book Red Moon. Red Moon is about Avery and Tristan… let’s take just a moment to wipe our chins and settle our fluttering hearts and possibly fluttering loins at the very thought of Tristan Williams. I know that he is still giving me an afterglow even though it has been months since I got to read his sweaty doings. Phew!!! Goodness me, Elizabeth… how do you keep yourself from developing a huge ego knowing that you created such loveliness? If I were you I would just sit alone with my imaginary friends all day long and preen at my clever, naughty mind and the men it creates.

Word Slinger Project

Weekly Indie Word Slinger – Elizabeth Kelly

032014-Word-Slinger

As anyone who might be following this Word Slinger Project might have taken note I have had to take a short break while I suffered a never ending bout of the flu. The bug pretty well took my hiney down. Luckily, both Elizabeth and follow Slinger, Khalid Muhammad stuck with me while their reviews, interviews and profiles literally hung in virtual cyberspace. Thanks oodles Elizabeth for being a complete trooper through my weakened state… I was just becoming a lycan. =)

Book It – In News Today: Elizabeth Kelly Reveals Dark Moon Cover

Dark Moon - Elizabeth Kelly Cover RevealElizabeth Kelly has revealed the cover to her new Red Moon Second Generation novel, Dark Moon, along with it’s synopsis. The novel, which tells the story of Sophia–Tristan’s natural daughter who was adopted by Avery–and her mate Kadan who is brother to James’ mate Bree; keeping it all in the ever growing Williams pack. This promises to be a really great angsty love story since we all know from Red Moon Rising that Kadan is a big ol’ hater of lycans and yet he didn’t let that bother him too much when he let Sophia ride his horse. –Note: There truly is no euphemism there. Expected release date is May 2014. Continue Reading

Book It – In News Today – M. Mabie Fades In New Release

FadeInFBBannerM. Mabie’s new release Fade In is just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. This Contemporary Romance between TV show writer, Tatum Elliot and hunky assistant, Ben Harris is the perfect read for a little love revelry when we are all getting a little fuzzy vision from a little too many Jager Bombs and green beer. I have never had too many Jager bombs to the point where I became so inebriated that I became completely blinded by drink and cried for my mom. That never happened to me… there are no pics to prove such a thing ever occurred.

Any Day That Ends In YA – Locked by Eva Morgan

LockedCovereditI had the realization a few weeks ago that it had been a few forevers ago since I had made it a habit to review Young Adult novels and upon this revelation came the realization that I really missed reading YA books. I also found that in the treasure trove of books on my Kindle I have a lot of YA books to read and review. I am going to make an attempt to read more. But as my first choice I had to pick Eva Morgan’s Locked because when I originally read the synopsis at the release of this novel the snarky, arrogant Sherlock Holmes’ cocky comments pretty much made me fall in love. So this one is for you Sherlock! (And you Eva…)

Feeling Peckish – Ruined By A Rake by Erin Knightley

rakeWho doesn’t love a rake? I know for me good guys do finish last. I need a man who is unrepentant and likes naughty, dirty fun times. The more playful, inappropriate and charming the better. Nicholas Norton might be a couple years too soon for me to feel he is ripe enough to be plucked from the scoundrel tree but I can’t help but be tempted by his devil may care smirks and flippant remarks.

Feeling Peckish – Hellhound by Rue Volley

HellhoundSexy cover! Sexy tagline: Hunt. Kill. Survive. Sexy Indie Publisher Name: Hot Ink Press. How can I say, ‘no’ to all the sexy. It would be like me turning down Tae Yang or Dongwoo. Could. Not. Be. Done. JSYK those are two of my most dreamy of sexy Kpop Idols. They make me have hot flashes and sometimes when they do sexy eyes I have to go have sorbet and think of the movie Ice Age. That is just how I felt when I first saw this book cover and then I felt more of that when I began reading it and met the characters. Gunnar… mmmm… blue hair. He made me think of Key when he had blue hair. And then I went from mmmm… blue hair to mmmm… Gunnar. And he made me stop thinking of Key. The book is many kittens good. Good, sexy kittens from hell. Hellkittens.
