Elias is second-in-command to the head of the X-Clan and is about to get rewarded for his loyal service. The Ash Wolves Alpha, Dušan, has agreed to an arrangement with Ander Cain, the X-Clan Alpha, a trade: Omegas for technology. Daciana will be the first Omega sent to the X-Clan: an experiment to see if the two wolf breeds can mate and breed successfully.

I couldn’t wait for this novella, and I wasn’t disappointed!

Lexi C. Foss understands how to break a female character and rebuild her into something better. Daciana starts as a brittle collection of iron shavings, and by the end, she is a battle hammer who can annihilate any oncoming threat. I’ve read Andorra Sector, and the timelines overlap. Those Omegas under Dacianna’s wing are growing in number, and her swinging arm is looking swole. She is badass just like her mate.

It’s my opinion that there is a tad bit of re-writing of Ander being done in this book because he had crap for brains in his book. I’m not a fan of this type of retreatment. Some of Elias’ early Andorra Sector behaviors are shined up too. I’m an a-hole, and I don’t want excuses for the prior bad behavior of other a-holes. Just make them redeem it in the future, but don’t re-write them. So–boo on that.

But other than shining those a-holes up and making them more loveable, I think that this story is all you could want it to be, and it keeps up with and is equal to Andorra Sector, but for the fact that it is a novella. –Augh WILF you get short shrift in the worst form.
