The Shadows (Black Dagger Brotherhood #13) by J.R. Ward
Everthing J. R. Ward is automatically awarded a place on the very top of my TBR as soon as I get a whiff of it.
2015 has been a year full of great news for Ward fans, what with various publications and announcements of new series. Just thinking about all those books makes me happy like a seal. And that’s how I rate books: based on the amount of happy they instill in me.

Schooled (Travesty #1) by Piper Lawson
Schooled made my inner patter pitter. Dylan Cameron is all hot like chili chocolate bites and I wanted more and hotter! What a babe. Babe-alicious babe. Piper made average guys amazing!

I’m a convert, all about Travesty and I think buying the two books in one is a good deal but if you want to tip your toe in first than this baby is available on it’s own!

Dumplin’ by Julie Murphy
I’ll make it brief and sweet: I LOVED IT!
The blurb explicitly guaranteed that it would steal my heart, and it did!
2015 has not been the year of 5 stars in my books sky, but Dumplin’ definitely made the cut. This is one of those books that teaches you something profound and boosts your confidence like nothing else.
This is the book to end all bullies.

Sweet Temptation (Sweet Evil #4) by Wendy Higgins
Wendy Higgins is my mother ship! I still call this book Kai is Sexy. It’s much better description than Sweet Temptation but I did that she was totally going on theme.
So Kaidan Rowe gets his book and he’s dark and steamy, sorta like the crowd in a rock concert. My fingers tasted the words that told his story and they let it all go straight to my head. I’m drunk on this last book.
If you like urban fantasy you need to read the Sweet Evil series.

This is one of my favourite series and I can’t seem to get enough of it.

Viscount of Vice (Covent Gardens Cubs #0.5) by Shana Galen
I love historical romances that are á la Jane Austen. To me Lisa Kleypas, Julia Quinn, Kasey Michaels and Shana Galen have that same blend of wit and romance.
I’m understating a little, wit is what you say when someone charming makes you wee yourself laughing but you don’t want to sound like you have a bladder issue.
I laughed so hard I snorted, and weed a bit because Lady Emma is a brilliant minx.

Shade (The Last Riders #6) by Jamie Begley
I won’t go as far to liken my love for Jamie Begley to what I feel for J.R. Ward but it cuts in close.
You know how far I had to go to decide that Shade would make my favourites of 2015 list? Just to the final (Epilogue #3) Stars flew like rockets after that.
That says a lot about a book.

Malik (Carter Brothers #1) by Lisa Helen Gray
This brother series quickly leveled up to my love of other great brother series like the Gentrys, the Slaters, the Maysons–I do love those lover brothers. Malik, Mason and Myles are all my favorites, I can’t wait for Max and Maverick.
These guys are alpha boys and men who take care of their womens. Oh how I would like to be one of their womens.

Dirty Bad Wrong (Dirty Bad #1) by Jade West
K, you know what? This book is going to appaul most of you. It’s kinky, graphic, deviant, and raw. I don’t care at all that I am waving my freak flag but this is a very controversial erotica and I loved it.
…that said, I squicked and cringed more than a few times.

Color Me Crazy by Carol Pavliska

Among the best things that happened to me this year. I read it a bunch of times and I still feel like doing cartwheels in the street and smile like crazy and gush about it and tell everyone they should read it NOW!
Yep, as I mentioned before, Color Me Crazy, did a chocolate number on me.
The only thing that downs me is that I don’t have a signed paperback of it. One of the cons of living in Sicily, I guess.
Ali: Unique and Funny as eff, Carol Pavliska won my heart and I still want to see colors, ‘specially when I meet new people. I wasn’t prepared for this book to steal my heart and it has it still. I loved the poop out of this love story. Carol Pavliska you must write many more. You already have all my money.
And I think Simona is dropping a hint for me to get in touch with Mistress Pavliska and get us both signed copy. The cheeky girl is going to be my Valentine so this may happen for her.
