So, yeah.<br \/><strong>Ali:<\/strong> Picking one of your books, describe it in three words.<br \/><strong>Chelsea:<\/strong> Which book? Oh, let\u2019s see. We\u2019ll describe-we\u2019ll describe Rogue Souls which is magic, murder, and mayhem.<br \/><strong>Ali:<\/strong> Magic, murder, and mayhem? The three m\u2019s.<br \/>Chelsea: Yes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Ali:<\/strong> Who are your main characters?<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Chelsea:<\/strong> The heroine is Callie Delgado and the hero is Derek Shepard. Do you want to know more about them?<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Ali:<\/strong> Go ahead.<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Chelsea:<\/strong> Okay. So Callie, Callie\u2019s kind of the rock of her family; her family is all about loyalty. And so she has one of those brothers that is always in trouble and she is always bailing him out. Because she\u2019s that person in her family, like \u2018I have to take care of everybody\u2019, which is how she ends up meeting Derek. So she gets strong-armed into becoming, doing a favor of getting her brother out of a jam, to become a repo woman for these people who don\u2019t return these rented souls from this creepy guy named the Soul Charmer.<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Derek works for the Soul Charmer, they get partnered together. He\u2019s the&#8211;kind of the enforcer-muscle type who ends up being her protection in this really gritty, crazy new world of soul magic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Ali:<\/strong> What secondary character or side character did you write that had the most fun writing?<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Chelsea:<\/strong> The Soul Charmer is the most fun to write. He is, he\u2019s like an older, kind of gnarled man. And he thinks he\u2019s really funny, and he\u2019s really creepy. Like if you watched, umm Daredevil? If you saw Stick; the way he moves, and the way that he talks is very&#8211;a lot of people are like, \u2018hey, he reminds me of the Soul Charmer\u2019. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Ali:<\/strong> My blog is called Have Coffee Need Books.<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Chelsea:<\/strong> Mm-hmm?<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Ali:<\/strong> So the question I have for you is\u2026<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For someone who is reading your books, what would you recommend they drink while reading them?<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Chelsea:<\/strong> Do you want me to recommend a coffee beverage? Or any beverage?<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Ali:<\/strong> You could recommend anything.<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Chelsea:<\/strong> Okay, so the perfect drink to drink when reading Borrowed Souls is vodka tonics. It\u2019s always vodka tonics. Now you can use diet tonic, I do. It\u2019s okay. But vodka tonics. Actually, there\u2019s an opening line in one of the chapters in Borrowed Souls that is, \u2018Vodka tonics are magical\u2019, so&#8230; ideal drink.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Ali:<\/strong> And a hashtag recommendation for your book?<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Chelsea:<\/strong> Well people use, there are a couple of hashtags that are popular. <strong>#SoulCharmer<\/strong> which is the name of the series is common.
