What a hawt and naughty good time!<\/p>\n

Silver Harris is snarky and sassy. The girl likes having the last word–even if that final statement is a slammed door. She doesn\u2019t put up with kisses on the side. She doesn\u2019t care for superior tones. That Chanel coat she is wearing is compensation for a ruined New Year\u2019s celebration; not saying she is a klepto but Silver believes in reparations. The true rewards of the last night of the year is the satisfactory knee to the jewels to her cheating date and a surprise walk home with a very sexy vampire.<\/p>\n

And vampires are as seductive as all the tabloids report.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Logan Byrne has surely rescued Silver from a shamefaced return to lame festivities after an Academy winning exit. The chit has moxie; truly charmed, Logan is delighted with her antics. The unexpectedly sweet offer of her neck in thanks for his assistance is something he can\u2019t pass up. And the minx tastes intoxicating.<\/p>\n

Just his luck. Logan\u2019s employer sends him back her way days later–not to reunite them though. Logan is to glamour Silver from any interest in bloodsuckers. In following out instructions Logan\u2019s task will turn her against the likes of him. This vampire can\u2019t give up the woman who makes his still heart pitter-patter even if it means losing his afterlife.<\/p>\n

It took a few pages for me to get into this book because at first it was a touch goofy. Fortunately the characters pulled me through that sketchy start; this book is fantastic!<\/p>\n

Imagine Buffy The Vampire Slayer<\/i>, mix it with the TV show Lucifer<\/i> then dust it liberally with the saltiness of True Blood<\/i>. Dating the Undead<\/i> is the oishi<\/i> taste of that dish!<\/p>\n

This vampy ride travels a rogue path. Forget your garlic, crucifixes, wooden stakes, and silver nitrate. These aren\u2019t your grandma\u2019s vampires, and they don\u2019t hide in coffins. Out of the closet blood drinkers are socialite celebrities seducing willing wantons. When a V-Dating website facilitates hook-up services for gullible humans with perfect predators Scotland Yard sees the perfect opportunity to infiltrate the vampire community in search of the evil that dead men do. It\u2019s a chance to deconstruct immortal psychology and solve murders committed through the centuries.<\/p>\n

And if you still need a reason to pick up Dating The Undead<\/i> I assure you that Vera–formerly known by the stage name Etta Marlow who played Susie De Sousa in Girl Uptown<\/i> with Gregor Lane; Vera, who won an Oscar for Days Like These<\/i> with Vic Stevens back in the day; Vera who reduces suave, sexy, worldly Logan Byrne to a fluttering-lashes fanboy–will have you laughing aloud. With nothing new under the sun for the jaded nonagenarian her wicked insights are hysterical. Silver and Vera will steal your heart if you give them a moment\u2019s blind eye.<\/p>\n

Pick up Dating the Undead!<\/b>
\nI can\u2019t wait for Inspector Vincent Ferrer\u2019s love story Romancing the Undead<\/i>, I await it with bated breath. Or if I am honest, I\u2019m panting for it. Thank you Ms. Juliet Lyons for this sweet and spicy pairing.<\/p>\n
