What the hell did I just try to read? It was convoluted and complete crap.<\/p>\n
First of all… Max loves Oriana, but he has this real bad kink where he gets off on watching people get off. As much as he wants her… he wants her with other people more. He is a player on the Dartmouth Cobras, a terrible hockey team that can’t make dickall happen on the ice. Supposedly he’s a Dom but he can’t even manage to say no when someone asks him if he wants coffee and make it sound convincing. Max lives with four other Cobras. I’d tell you their names but other than Mason and whatever the hell the custard chucker with the stiffy for making Oriana feel like bum butter is… they all sort of blend together into guy soup that I can’t tell apart. Now Mason, who is a real Dom, and Custard Chucker, who is supposed to be a Dom but is just a real forceful dildocio, and Max are in this trifecta of Oriana Hell; they all want her.<\/p>\n
Oriana is a simple tart in the beginning and she wishes only to humiliate her father who owns the Cobras. But after Max waves some magic libido scent in front of her and she gets the scent of multiple pork swords suddenly she wants them all! But she also considers herself Max’s alone. AND then five minutes later she wants Custard Chucker with an unquenchable something or other and Mason with an un-whateverable whatever her moistness moistens for whoever is left and she is their blah, blah, yadda.<\/p>\n
This is a ridiculous book and I stopped caring when it became clear that the hero was actually no one imparticular since I couldn’t figure out who was who and Oriana was sort of like that toy where there are all these different holes and you just shove things in them from all angles. These boys filled her and put toy Oriana aside in some room when they were done. Sometimes they’d invite neighbors to put things in it. Sometimes they’d lose her for a while and forget about her completely. Oriana is the strange combination of a Fisher Price toy, family pet, angsty teenager, bodily fluid receptacle, and Stanley Cup Trophy put together–no offense to Lord Stanley or his dear lauded cup.<\/p>\n
There is no substance to this book, which is why I couldn’t even finish it… to be fair I didn’t get more than 25% or so in. The “will she, should she, is she, can she” of the first few pages was so drawn out that it went beyond the definition of anticipation to procrastination and then to avoidance. Personally, I think this book would have served to have cut out the majority of the BS and been a short story. Perhaps even then it might have been too long since really the synopsis is more than likely the best this story has ever been told.<\/p>\n
And again… sorry Lord Stanley. Perhaps I should have said Conn-Smythe but that is MVP and there are far too many men with their hockey sticks in this woman’s net too pick one player and none of them have any value.<\/p>\n
