Well, first of all… who wants to read about sexy alpha heroes who are yummy and built and shiftery? Men who have the grrr! And that purr and bite? Phhhbt! Yeah… right! Who wants that?<\/p>\n
ME! You! US! So not an effin’ thing is wrong with Dark Innocence!<\/p>\n

Hannah Grey is not the sweet sister of Ella-I-wish-to-do-more-violence-Grey that we met in Dark Craving. After Lizbeth played filet Hannah in the asylum she has not been one of the working toy soldierettes. I would even go so far as to say she is on the Island of of Misfit Toys. Many boys, man-boys, and man-boy parts have been trying to screw her back together again but they just don’t seem to have the correct tools for the job.<\/p>\n
After weeks of spiraling the drain and then placing calls for help to her local Pussycat Rescue Service for late night clean-up, Hannah meets a brick wall. Hits rock bottom. Craps the bed. All time low. Is forced to face her demons. She decides to get her ducks in a row.<\/p>\n
Like all mystical paths to righteousness she has to be tempted by her weaknesses: the cheap numbness she has been dulling herself with, and show she can attempt a change. She has to face what she has always desired (I desire him too)–Eli and eff me did I want her to go for it! And then she has to put herself out there and go for the great big kitty cat. And when he tells her to get her clothes on, she has to keep her crap together and transcend her BS to get the cookie, the nookie and then the slap and tickle.<\/p>\n
The winner of the all inclusive Pussycat Claiming Weekend for Two at Chez-Dante? Well… I don’t want to spoil the ending for you, but I assure you it was not Micah.<\/p>\n
Now if I have any complaints at all… it is one I have spoken to Madeline about again and again and that is… Eli really needs to have his own trilogy. Broken, beautiful,\u00a0super hot, sexy, sultry,\u00a0seductive, mouth-watering, suggestive, carnal, libidinous, untamed, flirtatious, erotic, beautiful, wild, tasty, lusty, intelligent and permanently turned on (I’m not sure if I mean Eli or me when I say that), E-to-the-L-to-the-I; I’m pretty sure it spells Hot Loving Puppy Sex. It’s fine to give this little novella to Hannah and Dante because it’s a sweet and spicy little love story. But Eli is like a steak and he needs to be eaten slowly and he is juicy and should be savored. Crap, Maddie… if you won’t write his story, I will! And it will be front page to last page naughty, nasty, make you blind and sweaty smut. =)<\/p>\n
You don’t HAVE to, but you should read Dark Craving before this. And some other books you might like if you like this book are Jennifer Leeland’s<\/a> Wolf of Arundale Hall<\/a> is a yummy shiftery read all that has some zesty BDSM flavoring it. Perfect Mate<\/a> by Mina Carter<\/a> is a really great Paranormal Romance although it leans a little towards Sci-fi.
