Prefacing this review by saying I didn’t read Gods & Monsters. And having read this book, It’s unfortunate that I have not done so!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? is a crazy good read! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh emm gee! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I thoroughly enjoyed this baby, and Janie Marie wasn’t on my radar before, but I’m one-clicking her previous trilogy as I write this review. I can totally multitask like a boss! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kylie Hood is a sad story. She’s Little Red Riding Hood meets Cinderella but for the fact that in her real life, her wicked steps are out to wickedly maim, or possibly kill her, if they could get away with it. Worse yet, her Prince is just a crap jock who wants her to do his homework. But her world turns around when Logan Grimm drags her into his fairy-tale, where he might be the Big Bad Wolf looking to save her from the wilds outside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I adored Logan from the word ‘go.’ Cheers to Janie Marie because her wounded bad boy was a quiet redeemer from the start–probably a carryover from that other series I DID NOT READ! I’m going to get on that right away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Kylie is someone I could truly feel for; I would root for her, and then when she would break-down, I would WTF her, but get it because that is something we all do when our negative thoughts run away with us, and we let them get the better of us. Kylie has a lot of internal voices putting her down. She doesn’t have an inner cheering section, but Logan and the reader are pulling for her. She’s a work in progress, and you love her for it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

DECEMBER!? That is when the next book comes out, which isn’t that far away anymore. I just want more of this book to read, like right the hell now. I loved this story. And because of that. I have some back story to read now. I highly recommend you read Gods & Monsters first because there are many things that are referred to in this book that is a mystery that you would already know if you had read the previous trilogy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
